1967 Chevelle SS/LS2 Retro-ridE
It is equipped with a 405HP, aluminum, LS2 with a 4L60E electronic overdrive automatic, all computer managed. The engine compartment is uncluttered by computer wiring and computers, all routed neatly, tucked away and hidden in the passenger compartment with the ALDL in a serviceable position. The LS2 is from a 2005 GTO with less than 1000 miles. It has been driven about 250 miles since completion. The rear end is 12 bolt with a new Posi and 390 gears and a new balanced driveshaft. The cooling is adequately handled by a stock radiator for 396ci motor. The fuel tank was modified with a sump and electric fuel pump, bypass, return and filters. The exhaust includes the cats that came on the engine, aluminized exhaust and flow masters, what a great sounding muscle car. |
